Based on the Gandhian philosophy of Truth, Peace and Simplicity, the Clover Dale School is a space for free expression with mutual respect and affection. The school welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and invites them to blend into a universal environment of humanity. The well-being of every child is prioritized and (s)he is scaffolded to ‘Be the Best (s)he Can’.

Clover Dale means ‘A Valley of Success’, infused with positivity and happiness. The four-leaf clover is thought of as a good luck charm. It is estimated that the chances of finding a four-leaf clover are one in 10,000.

Every child is like the tender clover, and as depicted by the clover’s four leaves, is continually imbibing and emulating the fourfold sutras of Compassion, Knowledge, Strength and Spirituality.

The child’s growth in the school and beyond is harnessed in a way to encompass the subtle and integrated principles of Truth and Peace. The various aspects of this philosophy are depicted in the Wheel of Life, as adapted from principles of Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha.

The ‘Wheel of Life’ rotates at a uniform pace balancing the various elements of growth and development in the child. The key reason WHY a child needs to build Compassion, Knowledge, Strength and Spirituality is to help him/her align to the path of ‘Truth and Peace’. By practising these values, WHAT the child gains is a spirit of service, Competence, good health and Mindfulness. The HOW of the processes is an integration of daily activities chalked out meticulously to make the end objective a reality.
